Nexus 4 Features
The Nexus 4 offers features for gamers, photo-buffs, and Google+ users alike.
- Google Play, which offers Play Music, also offers the ability to stream video games. Users can download games onto the phone for free or for a small fee – and there are 675,000 available – and play them from the phone. Google’s Nexus 4 operates from a quad-core processor and is the fastest Android phone available. What does this mean for you? You won’t need to worry about games running slow, or seeing a large delay in between pressing a command and seeing it happen on the screen.
- Love taking photos? The Nexus 4 has an 8 megapixel camera. This is the best available for smartphones, and offers clear and crisp images. The camera also comes with Photo Sphere, which offers a 360 degree view of the world around you, so you can take photos of one scene but from different views. Bear in mind, however: the iPhone5 camera is better for keeping colors crisp and clear, according to Computerworld testing.
- Want to adapt photos? There are new tools available for cropping and manipulating photos to send to and share with friends. Also, those who enjoy taking videos will benefit from HD technology – you can take a video in high definition so the pictures are clear and more lifelike.
- Are you using Google+? With the Nexus 4, you can upload photos and videos straight to your profile.
Is Google Nexus 4 Worth the Money?
While there are some limitations, especially when compared to Apple’s iPhone5, the fact that the Nexus 4 is more affordable is a major benefit. The Nexus 4 will be released on November 13, 2012, and is the quickest Android phone on the market – it offers users the ability to communicate with friends, take great photos, and listen to music without using up memory, all at a reasonable price.
